QUALIFIED RECONCILIATIONS ACCOUNTANT - MACAU

My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their team over in Macau on an ongoing basis – this role has the potential to go permanent.
This is a fantastic ongoing contract for a Qualified Reconciliations Accountant to ensure all accounts are reconciled and reviewed. You will be responsible for investigating the source and production of the data required to perform the reconciliations. Working closely with the UK based Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounts in this brand new set up. You will also be involved in:
• Be proactive in implementing improvements to accounting and reconciliation processes, both manual and system based
• Work with the Finance Director as part of the monthly and quarterly reconciliation process
• Ensure production of fully documented information containing all relevant signed, reviewed and properly supported reconciliations
• Investigate old and long outstanding balances, identify and correct mis-posting and instigate cash transfer to clear down balances
• Provide regular progress updates to senior management
If you have experience in complex Balance Sheet reconciliations involving cash collection & distribution to multiple parties/Multinational organisations and have a good understanding of Oracle or Peoplesoft, please apply now.
You must be a qualified accountant to be considered for this role. This role is to start immediately i.e. next week and only candidate who are based either in Macau or Hong Kong will be considered given the timescales we are working to. Salary depends on experience but will be of a good level – open to discussion.
